Brian and Julie Hurse, vineyard located in Carisbrook, Bendigo GI. The vineyard was planted in 1994 and over the years has supplied A-grade fruit to Seppelts.

WINEMAKING

Destemmed directly into open fermenters. Indigenous yeast. Hand plunged twice daily. Matured for 15 months in French hogsheads before blending. Approximately 30% new oak.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

I have a soft spot for Shiraz and when I worked with this fruit for the first time in 2019 I knew I had to get my hands on some.

Complex and balanced - laced with spice and a hint of eucalypt.
